Charlie Luke

Charlie's career in the power equipment industry started in 1978 when he earned his degree in Agricultural Engineering and Technology from SUNY Cobleskill. Charlie grew within the business, gaining experience as technician, parts advisor, and sales representative. in 1986 his broad range of skills earned Charlie a promotion to store manager of a local John Deere dealership located in Unionville, CT. in 1994, Charlie had the opportunity to start his own dealership. Charlie seized that opportunity, and founded Farmington Valley Equipment. Under his leadership, Farmington Valley Equipment outgrew its location in Unionville, CT and was moved to its current location in Farmington, CT in 2002. Charlie's leadership has continued to guide and grow Farmington Valley Equipment into one of the premier power equipment locations in the area.

Bras Oliveira

Director of Sales
Bras has accumulated over 30 years experience in the power equipment industry, working in many different capacities through his career including sales, parts, and service. He came to Farmington Valley Equipment in 2010, and served as the service manager until 2015 when he transitioned to director of sales. He continually helps in all departments, and his wide ranging knowledge of the business is a great asset to Farmington Valley Equipment. Bras is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Dave Eaton

Sales Rep
Dave graduated SUNY Cobleskill with a degree in Agricultural Equipment and Technology in 1997. He immediately began his career working for several power equipment dealers. In 2001 he began working as a salesman for Farmington Valley Equipment. In his spare time Dave enjoys collecting and restoring antique lawn and garden tractors.

Joe Kiszka

Sales Rep
Joe grew up in the Farmington area, and has lived here most of his life. Joe accumulated plenty of sales, financing, and business experience though his career in the car industry. In 2013 he was looking for a change, and began his career at Farmington Valley Equipment in a sales capacity. Joe is also fluent in Polish.

Steve Erasmus

Parts Manager
Steve's career with Farmington Valley Equipment has spanned over 20 years. He began working part-time in 1996 and has performed several duties along the way including, new equipment setup technician, service technician, service advisor, and parts advisor. In 2005 Steve's hard work earned him a promotion to his current position of Parts Manager.

TJ Zagurski

Parts Advisor
TJ was born and raised on his family farm in Terryville, CT. in 2006 he earned his degree from SUNY Cobleskill in Agricultural Equipment and Technology. While in college, TJ gained experience working as a mechanic at a local power equipment dealership. Shortly after graduating, started his career at Farmington Valley Equipment as a Parts Advisor. He continues to help out on his family's farm, and he is a Captain in the Terryville Volunteer Fire Department.

Mark Trahan

Parts Advisor
Mark has accumulated over 25 years experience in the parts world. He spent 18 years at a local GM dealership as the parts managers before coming to Farmington Valley Equipment in 2008. Mark helps handle our online sales, shipping and receiving, and over the counter duties in our parts department.

Sherie Desrochers

Service Advisor
Sherie began her career with Farmington Valley Equipment in 2007. You will find her coordinating the trucking schedules, road appointments, and answering customer phone calls for service scheduling. She is also a member of the FVE fall festival planning committee.

Matt Provonost

Service Advisor
Matt came to Farmington Valley Equipment parts department in 2015. Prior to Farmington Valley Equipment, Matt spent 6 years working for parts and service in local power equipment shops. Matt also spent 3 years active duty in the United States Coast Guard, and is currently a volunteer firefighter in Thomaston, CT.

Kate Wendt

Service Advisor
Kate began her time with Farmington Valley Equipment as part of a shadow program at her high school. She then enrolled in the John Deere Tech program at SUNY Cobleskill with Farmington Valley Equipment as her sponsor. She received her Agricultural Engineering and Technology degree in 2014 and began working full time for FVE right away. Kate has completed her John Deere Core certification, and has reached silver level training for STIHL.

Rob Miller

Rob's career has spanned almost 40 years in the power equipment industry. He began working on Kubota tractor and International trucks before moving to a John Deere dealership in Litchfield, CT in 1980. He spent 13 years working on John Deere equipment ranging from small lawn mowers all the way to large agricultural equipment. Then, in 1994, Rob teamed with Charlie to help get Farmington Valley Equipment off the ground. Rob has been with Farmington Valley Equipment ever since, and his knowledge and skills have been a valuable part of making FVE a success. Rob has completed several manufacturer training programs and is a John Deere Core certified technician.

Tim Bruey

Tim has over 35 years of experience working in the power equipment industry. He spent over 15 years working for a John Deere dealership in Litchfield, CT, where he fixed everything from small lawn mowers to large scale agricultural equipment. Tim began his career at Farmington Valley Equipment in 1997. He has spent time as a technician and service manager. His knowledge is a valuable asset to Farmington Valley Equipment. Tim has completed several manufacturer training programs and is a John Deere Core certified technician.

Mike Daly

Mike has been with Farmington Valley Equipment since 1999. Prior to his time at Farmington Valley Equipment he gained experience working for a golf course, another power equipment company, and a landscaping company. He is a John Deere Core certified technician, a STIHL gold level certified technician, and a Scag gold level certified technician. Mike also attends school every year for Boss snowplows, and performs many of our snowplow and salt spreader installations and services.

Dan Mangione

Dan began his career in the motorcycle industry. He attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, and followed that with a 9 year career in a powersports dealership where he worked on motorcycles, dirt bikes, jet skis, quads, and utility vehicles. He started with Farmington Valley Equipment in 2014. He is currently enrolled in the John Deere training program and is on track to become core certified.

Sam White

Motorcycles and dirt bikes have been a big part of Sam's life. He has been riding his whole life, and was employed as a technician at a motorcycle dealership for 10 years prior to coming to Farmington Valley Equipment in 2014. He also performed part-time work as mechanic for a local landscaping company prior to working at FVE. Sam currently rides semi-professionally in a motocross circuit during his spare time.

Amy Erasmus

Office Manager
Amy started her career at Farmington Valley Equipment in 1997 as a part-time employee. Her responsibilities quickly grew as the company continue to grow. Today Amy's primary responsibilities include accounting, billing, payroll, credit card processing, point of sale system management, and employee benefit management. She also serves on the planning committee for the FVE fall festival, the website development committee, and she coordinates catering for any events that might happen at FVE. Her behind the scenes efforts keep Farmington Valley Equipment running smoothly.
